Garonga Safari Camp is an exclusive 14 bed camp in the greater Makalali Conservancy situated west of the Kruger National Park. This unassuming sanctuary promises a more intimate wildlife encounter in an unhurried environment – somewhere where you can unwind, sleep deeply and be yourself. Garonga's holistic philosophy is to offer a safari for the soul, an unhurried and intimate wildlife encounter – a time to reflect and find inspiration in nature. You can either try your hand at every activity we have on offer, or you can do simply nothing at all – lazing in the hammock with a good book while watching the grazing impala.Activities include game drives, wilderness walks, sleep-outs, outdoor bush-baths and aromatherapy and reflexology sessions. We encourage our guests to indulge in activities that will allow them to walk close to the animals, and thereby enhance their wildlife encounter.

available with prices ranging from R150.00 to R295.00.
What to take:
Walking shoes, sun hat, sunglasses, sun block, cameras, binoculars, anti-malaria precautions (consult your physician),
light clothing and swimming costumes in summer and in winter warm clothing and jackets
Climate:
Summer (October - March). Rainy season: hot days, warm nights. Temperatures 25 - 40 degrees centigrade.
Winter (April - August). Dry season: generally warm days, cold nights. Temperatures 5 - 25 degrees centigrade.
