Hluhluwe
Lodge

An upmarket, fully serviced bush lodge, situated in Weavers Nature Park: 150 hectares of indigenous sand forest. Bushwillow is ideally located, allowing for both a bush and a beach experience. Explore and enjoy the Elephant Coast, the North Eastern Region of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Or just relax at the lodge, cooling off in its swimming pool during the hot Summer months, as you watch the game come to the lodge’s own small waterhole. Either cater for yourself in the lodges fully equipped kitchen or let us spoil you with lazy breakfasts and first-class evening meals. Bushwillow is a 3-hour drive North from the bustling city of Durban on the east coast of South Africa.

Facilities:
  • Bushwillow consists of three luxury units linked by raised wooden walkways which conveniently lead from the central entertainment area to the bedrooms on either side of it.
  • Central Facility - comprises an open plan fully equipped stylish kitchen. The spacious and tastefully decorated lounge and dining area with foldaway glass doors, opens out onto the large deck area where you can cool off in the pool or lie on the sun lounger’s soaking up the warm African sunlight. Watch game as they come to visit the lodge’s own small waterhole and listen and view the birds from the expansive lodge decking. In the evening, relax and unwind. The deck area provides the perfect viewpoint for some of the most spectacular African sunsets.
  • The Bedrooms - The king-size bedroom, with extra length bed has floor to ceiling sliding windows and doors with mosquito netting. Feel as if you are sleeping outside as you look out to the expanse of the bush. The quality of the furnishings however, reminds you that comfort is at hand. Allow yourself to be awoken by the early morning African sun as it streams into your sleeping area - or if you prefer to sleep in you can make use of the blinds to afford yourself a little more sleep time. An ideal honeymoon suite. The two twin bedded rooms are separated by a small but very comfortable lounge area. The style of the rooms and the en-suite bathrooms otherwise offer the same experience as the king-sized bedroom.
  • The Bathrooms - The en-suite bathroom is spacious with hand made twin basins set in a beautiful and original, solid wood vanity. The frameless shower and freestanding cast iron bath makes for a tasteful mixture of old and new. Relax in a candlelit bath as you soak up the peace and tranquillity whilst looking out onto the bush. Your own small private deck area allows you to sit outdoors and enjoy an early morning cup of tea or a quiet evening sundowner.
